Neurotherapy and Counseling

Mental Health is not just our Psychology... it is also our Physiology

You are asking yourself: Will I ever find balance in my life? Why isn’t my life what I want it to be? When will I get relief from feeling overwhelmed, sleep struggles, difficulty concentrating, poor physical health, brain fog and strained relationships? These are all roadblocks to the life we want. Take a moment..BREATHE..I have a plan for you. Mental health is not only our psychology, but also our physiology. If we are willing to listen, our brain and our body provide guideposts to better days for us. Three powerful tools will help you get there: QEEG, Neurofeedback, and Lifestyle (Relationships, Community, Movement).

Step 1
QEEG
Mapping the path to peace of mind

Think of QEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalography) as the blueprint for your mind. Using safe, non-invasive sensors, we capture your brainwaves and turn them into a colorful “brain map.”Unlike a standard medical EEG (which is often used to detect seizures), QEEG gives us a deeper look at patterns that affect focus, mood, sleep, and performance. It can also spot imbalances that may be linked to issues like anxiety, ADHD, depression, or trauma.
It’s a powerful tool that helps us tailor care specifically to you.
It’s the first step toward helping your brain work at its best.

Step 2
Neurofeedback
Healing from the inside out...one brainwave at a time

Neurofeedback is a gentle, non-invasive way to teach your brain how to function at its best. A small device connected to your scalp with sensors tracks your brainwave activity and provides real-time feedback through sounds, visuals, or games. Your brain learns to self-regulate—naturally moving toward healthier patterns. Many people find that neurofeedback helps with focus, calm, mood, and sleep. It’s a safe and empowering process that doesn’t force change but gently guides your brain toward balance. Think of it as giving your mind a mirror—so it can see itself more clearly and begin to thrive.Neurofeedback has a lengthy history of research-supported success improving symptoms from: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADD/ADHD, Substance Use Disorder, Chronic Pain, Brain Injury, Epilepsy, Memory Issues, and many other mental health disorders. We will also look at your sleep quality, and breathwork. Improving sleep quality is the biggest bang for your buck in terms of improving mental and physical health. Breathwork allows us to work directly with your central nervous system.

Step 3
Everything Else

True mental well-being rests on three essential foundations: Community, Relationships, and Movement.Community provides belonging and support, reminding us we’re not alone.Relationships nurture connection, trust, and emotional safety.Movement keeps both body and mind active, releasing stress and boosting mood. While many may choose traditional forms of exercise, for many this may not work. This is why reframing this idea as movement practice is essential.Together, these pillars create balance and resilience. They help us feel grounded, connected, and are an important complement to brain-training. Training our brains can take us a long way, the three pillars are the last piece of the puzzle.

Who am I?

I'm Tim Vojta, LPC. I have been in the mental health field for more than 12 years. I left a twenty year business and consulting career to pursue this work. Mental health wellness and better living are my passion. When I am not geeking out about new and exciting technologies that contribute to our wellness, I am cultivating my own movement practice (macebell, kettlebell, and rope flows (really fun!), cultivating community (pickleball and art), and working on my relationship with my beautiful wife and taking care of our two cats and one dog. I'm grateful that you came this far on my page. I look forward to helping you, my contact information is below. Please reach out, I'm always happy to answer any questions and address any concerns.
